Project Manager / Transportation

Location: Sugar Grove, Illinois

Summary:

Engineering Enterprises, Inc. (EEI) is seeking an organized, detailed-oriented, highly motivated Project Manager. This position will include working on a wide range of transportation projects including new roadway construction, roadway rehabilitation, roadway reconstruction, traffic signal as well as planning studies.

The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication, project collaboration and teamwork.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing multiple projects
  • Preparing and monitoring project budgets
  • Project scheduling

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience working on a wide range of transportation projects
  • Be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
  • Knowledge of IDOT standards and procedures specifically as it relates to Phase I / Phase II design requirements and MFT requirements highly desired
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A valid driver's license

Senior Project Engineer / Transportation

Location: Sugar Grove, Illinois

Summary:

Engineering Enterprises, Inc. (EEI) is seeking an organized, detailed oriented, highly motivated engineer to work in its Transportation Group.

The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication, project collaboration and teamwork.

Responsibilities include:

  • Participating on project teams as needed for a variety of projects
  • Providing support and/or project lead for planning, design and reporting on various transportation projects
  • Providing construction oversight on various transportation projects
  • Providing construction management on various transportation projects

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Have a minimum of five (5) – fifteen (15) years of experience on a wide range of transportation projects including roadway rehabilitation, roadway reconstruction, traffic signal and shared use path projects, as well as traffic studies
  • Knowledge of IDOT standards and procedures specifically as it relates to Phase I / Phase II design requirements and MFT requirements would be preferred
  • Experience with MicroStation and traffic modeling software (such as Highway Capacity Software or Synchro) would be a plus
  • Be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
  • A P.T.O.E. license or ability/experience to obtain the license within a one-year time frame is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A valid driver's license

Summary:

Engineering Enterprises, Inc. (EEI) is seeking an organized, detailed oriented, highly motivated engineer to work in its Environmental Group. The Environmental Group, which primarily focuses on water supply, water treatment, wastewater treatment and Infiltration and Inflow (I/I) studies has a significant backlog of projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Participate on project teams
  • Report to a group's Project Manager and high-level management
  • Prepare water and wastewater system reports
  • Design water supply, water treatment, pump stations and wastewater treatment facilities
  • Provide construction phase engineering services for water and wastewater projects

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering preferred
  • Have a minimum of five (5) – seven (7) years of design and construction engineering experience on water and wastewater systems
  • Be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
