EEI 2nd Annual Blood Drive and cook out!

June 15, 2007, EEI hosted its second annual blood drive in honor of Gina Migliorini who was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor at the age of six. Gina underwent surgery to remove the tumor. During thirty-one sessions of intense chemotherapy and radiation, Gina received numerous blood transfusions.

In gratitude to those who provided the life-saving blood donations, employees of EEI and their families sponsored the blood drive. Today, at age eight, Gina is doing well, went back to school and is enjoying a summer of fun with her family and friends.

In all, forty pints of blood were collected for LifeSource. However, this year, Engineering Enterprises, Inc. offered not only refreshments, but also a full lunch menu of brats, hamburgers, chips, beans and salads for the hungry donors.
